One look at the
Riverdel Swim Club, and you will understand why it has been a long-time
summer family tradition for folks since 1961. Riverdel offers one of the
largest pools in South Jersey (25 meter competition lanes and 50 meter
long swimming area), a safe/secluded baby pool, a modern swing set/play
gym, three-meter high dive and one-meter low dive (12 feet deep diving
well), dual tube water slides, and a dedicated adult swimming section.

We also maintain no smoking sections throughout the facility and there
is plenty of room to stretch out to catch the sun. There is a tennis
court, shuffle board, basketball court and a beach volleyball
court for your enjoyment. There is also the Poolside Cafe, a full
service snack bar, that offers a full
range of menu items
Riverdel less than a 5 minute drive from Route
130 and is located on Whittaker Street between Bridgeboro Road and
Fairview Street in Riverside. More than 200 member families enjoy their
summer here and take advantage of our relaxed
atmosphere while many are also involved with our Riverdel Stingrays swim
team.

19 - 2012 Meet Schedule is Out |
|
The 2012 "A" meet
schedule is out. Riverdel will be competing in Division
E this year against the likes of Riverton, Fox Hollow and
Woodbine. Also, the Burlington County Championship Meet
is scheduled for Saturday, July, 28 and the Tri-County Championships on August 4 & 5.

TESTING |
|

All
children 13 & under must be tested for their band
each year. .The
cost per band is $1.00 refundable at the summer's end.
Please return all bands from last year to the manager's
office for a refund. See
the manager on duty to get your child/guest tested.

ADVANCED
|
REQUIREMENTS
- children must
swim 2 pool lengths, dive off low board, jump off high
board and tread water for one minute. ALLOWS use of
entire pool (except adult end) and diving boards
unattended.

INTERMEDIATE
|
REQUIREMENTS
- children must
swim entire length of pool, dive off low board and tread
water 30 seconds. ALLOWS children to
use entire pool (except adult end) and low board
unattended and to use high board with parental
supervision on apron.

|
BEGINNER
|
REQUIREMENTS
- children must
swim from the shallow end wall to the first rope.
ALLOWS children to swim
in children's end (to first rope) unattended and to use
low board with parental supervision on pool apron
|

The
Riverdel Stingrays Swim Team is open to all Riverdel members ages 5
- 18. Besides offering swimmers the opportunity to develop
their skills in competition, the swim team provides a great way for
kids to make friends! It is also an excellent opportunity for parents
to meet parents.
To
register for the swim team, please contact one of the board members. The cost is $75 for the first swimmer and $40
for each additional swimmer. This all-inclusive fee includes
Spring Warm-ups, mandatory Tri-Co insurance fees, coach's gifts,
mini-meet concession fee and any other fees necessary to compete in
Tri-County.

Swim Club is located on Whittaker Street between Fairview Street and
Bridgeboro Street in Riverside, NJ.

from Route 295
I
295 to Exit 43, and follow sign for Delran. Take exit onto Creek
Road. Continue on Creek Road approximately 3 miles to second
traffic light and turn right onto Bridgeboro Street. Go under
the over pass (Route 130) to third left and turn onto Whittaker
Street.
Directions

Route
130 to Fairview Street (Walgreens is at the intersection) West
on Fairview Street (towards Riverside) to third right (immediately
after Seabra Food Market) onto Whittaker Street Swim club is
1/4 mile on right.
Please
do not park in the church parking lots on Whittaker.
